The campground features 215 campsites serviced by five separate bathhouses. Many campsites are on the water, and all are considered tent-and-RV sites. However, Loop F consists entirely of sites with no hookups, which makes it the most tent-friendly part of the campground. Amenities include a boat ramp, a coin laundry, a playground, a picnic area, a swimming beach and hiking trails.
Barren River Lake provides hours of entertainment for the boating enthusiast. The marina has 100 open slips, 40 covered slips, a launching ramp, rental fishing boats and rental pontoons

Double J Stables and Campgrounds is located off the Northeastern corner of Mammoth Cave National Park. We offer water and electric sites also rustic sites. We have stalls, turn out area, picketing or pens for your horses. We are limited, so stalls have to be reserved. Singing Hills is a great place to come for some peace and quiet. After a long day of driving, or a full day of sight seeing in the area; Singing Hills offers a welcome respite from the coming and going. It's a wonderful place to sit outside with a good book, or to take a quiet walk. The sunset over the park is always beautiful. As with nearly every other place on the planet, there are some non-conformists. The birds, frogs, and crickets in the area don't always vote for peace and quiet.
Tailwater Campground is the smallest of the Corps of Engineers' lake shore campgrounds, but is close to a good area to fish for catfish or striped bass. Campground features include a bathhouse, a playground, a picnic shelter, hiking trails and a boat ramp.
The Narrows campgound offers 92 campsites organized into two loops. Each loop has its own central bathhouse. Campsites at The Narrows are designed for both tents and RVs, and all sites have electrical hookups. The campground also has a playground, coin laundry and picnic area, and is located near a marina with a boat ramp. On-site activities include hiking and shore fishing.
Holmes Bend Campground, located in Adair County, is a class A campground with 125 campsites. Sites 1-23 are non-electric, primitive sites while sites 24-125 provide electric hookups. Forty-one sites also have water hookups provided. The campground is scheduled to open for the 2010 season on April 16 and will close on October 23 and camping fees will range from $17 - $23 (depending on site type). Washhouse and restroom facilities are located in the campground along with potable water and dump stations. A nature trail and play area are also available. Location wise, Holmes Bend is located in the central time zone and is near Columbia, KY. Day-use fees are collected at the Corps boat ramp and a (reservable) picnic shelter is also nearby. A concessionaire marina is also located in this recreation area.
Pikes Ridge Campground offers 60 campsites. Amenities include a dump station, boat ramp, playground, camper's beach and fishing areas. There is no bathhouse, but pit and portable toilets are available.
As a shoreline campground, campsites are prone to flooding at elevations above seasonal pool. A hunter's parking area, grocery store and firewood are nearby.
Smith Ridge campground offers 80 campsites, 62 with electric hookups, of which 31 also have water hookups. Other amenities include dump stations, bathhouses, a boat ramp, playground, picnic area, beach and fishing areas. A public marina, gas station, bait & grocery stores, firewood & ice, and boat storage are nearby.
